Skamol proves its resilience: Skamol’s annual report for 2020 shows an EBITDA of DKK 84 million.
Skamol’s annual report for 2020 shows an EBITDA of DKK 84 million compared to DKK 87 million in 2019.
CEO of Skamol Group, Poul Erik Kamstrup, states in connection with the annual report:
“In a year like 2020, which has been globally characterised by COVID-19, Skamol has proven its resilience when the world around us has been turbulent. Skamol has thus, thanks to a close collaboration with our more than 1,000 customers from more than 70 countries, been able to deliver a 2020 result that has been on a par with the previous year. Now, we look to the future and we are delighted to see that that our markets and performance have developed positively in the first quarter of 2021.”
Skamol’s turnover was DKK 394 million in 2020 compared to DKK 403 million in 2019.
“At the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 situation led to a short-term decline in revenue. Despite this short-term decline in revenue, Skamol created growth in new and existing key markets such as in e.g. Asia Pacific over the year.
This growth was created on the basis of Skamol’s unique products that provide energy-enhancing solutions for our customers, thus reducing CO2 emissions, increasing the safety of people and buildings through passive fire protection and creating the physical surroundings for the good life through improved indoor climate.
Our ever-growing global team of skilled and dedicated employees is an important part of the foundation for effective execution and the results it brings.” elaborates Poul Erik Kamstrup.
