Skamol was founded in Denmark in 1912 with the purpose of utilizing the local deposits of the unique diatomaceous earth known as moler.
Since then, the company has grown into a leading, global supplier of insulation systems for both industrial and building use.
Besides the use of moler (diatomite), we have expanded our product range to include vermiculite and calcium silicate.
As a modern company, we are on the front edge of research and system development, as well as new techniques and technologies. Our production plants in Denmark and Poland are kept state-of-the-art to ensure continuously high system quality – an attribute that often proves vital for our customers.
