The future growth is supported by continuous product, technology, and capacity development.
The result of the growth strategy can be seen in the annual report 2018. Here Skamol’s turnover has increased with 13% to 385m Danish Kroner. EBITDA constituted 77m Danish Kroner.
In 2018 there has been invested in all existing plants along with an implementation of a new plant in Poland, Skamol Opole.
The initiating phase of Skamol Opole was delayed by around 6 months due to a longer period of commissioning of new production technology. The delay caused the relatively smaller revenue compared to 2017. Skamol Opole is now running as planned – the production capacity is expected to be doubled by end 2019 facilitated by further investments in a new production line.
